The Exchange Programs of Tongji University only accept international students nominated by our partner universities. Students interested in applying for exchange to TJU should check with your home university to see if it has any student exchange program agreement with us.

Application Procedures:

Please approach your Office of International Affairs for the detailed application procedures. Further enquiries related to the exchange programs of TJU may be directed to Colleges/Schools or Regional Heads of Foreign Affairs Office, which can be found in Contact Us.

Application Period:

Spring semester: September 10th - November 30th, 2020

Fall semester: March 10th - May 31st, 2021

Documents for Online Application:

a. Copy of information page of your valid passport (necessary)

b. Consent Letter of Outgoing Exchange from the nominee’s home university/Studying Certificate (necessary)

c. Study proposal

d. Official academic transcript

e. Others

(Other documents that should be uploaded are subject to the requirements of each college/school besides the two necessary ones.)
